Temenos IV - Affordable Housing
Harris County - AGCM
Understanding the Challenge
The Temenos IV Affordable Housing Development was designed to expand permanent supportive housing options for vulnerable and underserved populations in the Houston area. The project required careful integration of sustainable design features, accessibility standards, and community-based support infrastructure within a constrained urban footprint. Complexities included coordinating multiple funding streams, meeting HUD and ADA compliance requirements, and managing construction logistics in a densely developed area—all while maintaining a strict budget and schedule to ensure timely delivery of critical housing resources.
Our Strategic Intervention
PMG provided comprehensive project and construction management services throughout all phases of Temenos IV, from preconstruction planning through project closeout. Our team led efforts in cost estimating, scheduling, and quality assurance to ensure the project’s goals were met efficiently and transparently. PMG coordinated with architects, contractors, and housing authority stakeholders to mitigate risks, track progress, and maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and funding guidelines. Our hands-on field management approach ensured that construction activities aligned with design intent, sustainability objectives, and resident safety standards.
Transformational Results
The Temenos IV development now provides a safe, supportive, and dignified living environment for individuals and families in need, contributing to the broader mission of addressing homelessness and housing insecurity in Houston. PMG’s leadership ensured the project was delivered on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with regulatory and funding requirements. The result is a high-quality, energy-efficient residential facility that enhances community stability and demonstrates PMG’s commitment to socially responsible project delivery and impactful urban revitalization.
